Groupia Ltd failure: Advice for customers

We regret to inform you that Groupia Ltd  is no longer trading as of 16 June 2026.

Groupia trade names included Groupia Golf, GoHen, StagWeb, Groupia School Trips and Company Away Days.

If you have booked a trip with any Groupia Limited brand, please read the following carefully:

  • Bookings taking place before 31 August 26
    • If your event is due to commence on or before 31 August 2026, these events are expected to go ahead as planned. Please continue to use the Company’s existing VIP booking system for information or queries on these bookings  https://vip.groupia.com/  .
  • Bookings taking place after 01  September 26
    • If your event is due to commence on or after 1 September 2026, these events will unfortunately be cancelled and subject to a refund claim.

 

How to make a claim for bookings on or after 1 September 26

Card Payments

If you paid any amount by credit or debit card, you will need to seek a refund from your card issuer.  To assist you with making your claim you will need to download a letter. Please note that the debit card letter should be used if you paid by credit card but the total value of the charge was less that £100.

Other Payments

Bookings paid by any other method will need to submit a claim to ABTOT care of Gallagher Bassett.

How long will it take to process my claim?

ABTOT aim to complete all claim payments as soon as possible and have employed additional resource to do so.  

When you submit your claim, ensure you send through all required paperwork, You will need a copy of your booking invoice and proof of payment or an acceptable photo of both to complete your claim. 

Please note that ABTOT does not protect the following Groupia Ltd bookings:

The following types of bookings are not protected by the ABTOT bond and the customer will need to contact the administrator S&W Partners LLP.

  • Flights for the holidays (contact the airline)
  • Day trips and activities without overnight accommodation
  • Travel insurance costs
  • Gift Vouchers and vouchers given as a goodwill gesture
