If you are a coach operator organising holidays (packages) you need to make sure your customers have financial protection. You can do this by using the Bonded Coach Holidays scheme (BCH).
BCH is the coach tourism industry’s government approved bonding scheme and it is run by ABTOT.
ABTOT is a Membership Association with nearly 400 Members appointed by the UK Government Department for Business and Trade to operate a regulated travel bonding scheme for Travel & Coach Organisers who need to comply with the UK Travel Regulations.
To join BCH, you must hold an O-Licence and be a member of the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT). BCH Members are required to comply with BCH ABTOT operational and financial standards which are set out in BCH’s Rules and Code of Conduct and they are audited on a regular basis by BCH ABTOT.
BCH Members are required to re-apply each year for Membership of the scheme, supplying financial information to BCH & ABTOT.

Peace of mind
When considering a coach holiday always look for the BCH ABTOT logo on the operator’s brochure.
This means that your money is protected by a government approved scheme specifically for coach package holidays involving coach travel & accommodation of at least one overnight stay.
