This one-day forum on 19 October in London asks a simple question: what if travel safety wasn’t just about keeping your product safe to sell, but a genuine driver of growth, loyalty and inclusive travel, as well as a contributor to sustainability goals?
The Safer Tourism Foundation is a charity working to save lives and prevent harm to travellers on holiday. They run campaigns to help travellers understand the risks they may face when they travel and to influence government policy. They also work with the travel industry to raise safety standards, through research, incident data and initiatives like the Safer Tourism Pledge.
What is the Traveller Safety Lab?
The event will bring together key travel safety players (tour operator safety specialists, insurers and legal firms), those raising traveller awareness about safety more broadly, and those who market, promote, design and sell travel (providers, agents, DMOs and associations), to make the links clear between travel safety and travel that is more inclusive, more profitable, and better for the places and communities we visit.
Through expert presentations and thought-provoking panels, attendees will leave thinking about travel safety differently.
