We launched our ZEERO program only last year and it’s gaining quite a following! Next week, our CEO Nico, will be addressing world leaders on the main stage at the *COP29! We couldn’t be prouder of this recognition and of course, this truly amazing opportunity we have been given.
ZEERO is our joint venture initiative, designed to further propel the travel industry towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Empowering organisations to actively and easily participate in climate projects, democratising the ownership of climate contributions and incentivising climate action.
A crucial pilot project is already in the making, which not only addresses the vital restoration of nature but includes a pivotal biofuel development, with the potential to be a blueprint for other
regions around the world. ZEERO addresses some of the biggest issues of our time, including our reliance on fossil fuels, our need to phase it out and reverse the consequential environmental and social impact of climate change.
The simply packaged ‘CLIMATE CONTRIBUTION’ model combines the funds into key areas including clean energy technologies, nature restoration, communities, plus a first response disaster fund. Through small digestible contributions per traveller, booking or travel insurance policy ZEERO channels the consolidated finance to accelerate and scale up impactful climate solutions. Each micro-investment also includes share points, incentivising collective action and meaningful collaboration with a return for planet, people and partners.

*COP29 refers to the 29th Conference of the Parties. These conferences are part of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), where countries come together to discuss and negotiate actions to combat climate change.
