FCDO Travel Aware campaign

The Travel Aware campaign is a joint venture between the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office and the travel industry to help British travellers stay safe and avoid preventable incidents when they go overseas. The campaign encourages British travellers to:

• Check Travel Advice and sign up to email alerts for their destination

• Get appropriate travel insurance and declare all medical conditions

• Understand the local laws and customs of the place they’re travelling to

ABTOT is a Travel Aware partner and we distribute Travel Aware campaign assets and messages to Members to promote across their own social profiles.

The campaign raises awareness of key consular priorities and raises traveller awareness of issues potentially affecting their travel abroad.
