Colin McGregor is Managing Director of tranquilico a specialist consultancy offering health, safety and crisis management services primarily to the travel, leisure and education sectors. This includes tour operators, travel agents, adventure holiday companies, independent schools, DMC’s, youth, student & school travel organisations and sports teams and their tour companies.
tranquilico has been successfully operating since 2008 and is now in its 13th year of operation.
One of their main focuses is preparing crisis management policies, procedures and training and assisting with crisis response.
In addition, tranquilico.com installs health & safety due diligence safety management systems and provides auditing and incident investigation services.
Their use of the innovative e-pass system also allows businesses to carry out H&S self-assessments on suppliers for a very cost-effective price. (Accommodation, Transport, Aviation, Marine & a plethora of Higher Risk Activity suppliers)
Prior to setting up tranquilico, Colin worked for more than 26 years in travel senior management/director roles for Thomson, MyTravel & Thomas Cook, primarily dealing with Health & Safety and Crisis Management issues affecting these businesses.
Colin was Chairman of the FTO Health & Safety Committee, has spoken widely at international conferences and continues to carry out training and overseas inspections worldwide.
