application process

Firstly call the office on 0845 4504 618 to discuss your interest and to ensure ABTOT membership will be suitable for your organisation.

The next step is the completion and return of the application form together with the supporting documentation. A non refundable application fee will be payable when the form is returned to ABTOT.

For newly incorporated businesses ABTOT requires an opening balance sheet and detailed business plan. Established businesses will need to provide copies of the last 3 years audited and holding companies consolidated accounts (if applicable) to support their application. A Bank Position form will need to be completed by your business bank. ABTOT will also require proof of identification to comply with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations and copies of CVs, brochures, customer documents and programme information to undertake its assessment.

Once all the information has been submitted, it usually takes three weeks for an application to be considered. There may be a need for further points of discussion and a meeting will be set up between ABTOT and the owners/directors of the travel organiser to discuss the application and establish personal contact.
